Dan Sears is Caiman's practice area lead for the Customer and Partner Engagement practice area. In this capacity he serves as a thought leader and lead strategist for Caiman’s clients developing winning strategies and solutions that drive growth and build innovation muscle. As a systems thinker with two decades of in-the-trenches experience, Dan combines a deep toolkit with expertise in synthesizing multi-disciplinary approaches to solve complex business challenges.
Dan is a full-stack product manager and marketer. He is a two-time startup co-founder and excels at guiding clients in finding meaningful market “signals” that lead to new business models.
Dan has led large-scale platform product transformation and customer experience engagements across multiple categories, including cloud, enterprise SaaS, digital payments, partner ecosystems, open API banking, e-commerce, retail, enterprise data management, and multi-channel customer interaction across a range of the F1000.
With a background rooted in science, Dan holds a B.S. in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Babson College, a professional certificate in Software Product Management from the University of Washington, and has completed postgraduate work in Biomedical Informatics at Oregon Health Sciences University. Outside of work you will find him mountain running with his wife, freediving, or traveling to places off the beaten path.
